Wireless capabilities are quickly taking over as many appliances and accessories are being built to function in a mobile platform. This will allow the iPhone to become a universal remote control to regulate every aspect of the home as part of a larger connected platform. Although many things are still unclear, many people are speculating on what to expect. iBeacon is likely to play a significant part of the Smart Home. iBeacon is an innovative technology that covers location services in iOS. The iBeacon will be the technological backbone of how this type of intelligence will function in order to provide a contextual understanding of whom and where the consumer is at any given moment.
