As a new year begins, warehouses want a fresh start eliminating their scrap parts. Launch 3 Telecom offers a solution to dispose of electronic waste materials.
So how does the recycling process works at Launch 3? Our recycling and downstream flowchart makes it easily understandable to know how the process works and what is done with specific equipment.
We offer 2 alternatives for picking up your electronic waste materials through an eWaste event or by pick up request. Once this equipment is loaded on our trucks, we bring it to our warehouse for sorting, testing, staging, and refurbishing.
The parts are evaluated for whether they can be refurbished or not. If so, they will be restored or parts will be taken from the unit that can be used for other equipment.
This equipment is properly sorted by what it is made from once it is determined that the equipment is unsalvageable. Printers and Printer scraps will be sorted with plastics and metal. CRTs, TVs, and Fluorescent bulbs are distributed to downstream partners that are certified in eWaste Recycling. Circuit Boards and UPS & Batteries are also distributed to certified recyclers and refineries. Laptop Scrap, PCs, PC Scrap, and eScrap are sorted as plastic, metal, or circuit boards. Laptops may be refurbished and resold.
Truly, the expression “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is fitting. The possibilities for downstreaming and recycling are plentiful. To learn more about our downstream and recycling process or asset recovery, contact Launch 3 at 877-878-9134 or email sales@launch3.net.
